Boulder Community Hospital Diet Clerk - Foothills in Boulder, Colorado
Halftime - 20 hours a week - Variable Shifts Weekends
Under general supervision, assists the Therapeutic Dietitians in administering the nutritional program for Boulder Community Hospital. Responsible for procedures of patient service in the Diet Office.
Education or Formal Training
High School diploma preferred. Some working computer knowledge.
Special Qualifications (licensure, registration, etc.)
Knowledge, Skill and Ability
Knowledge of both administrative and therapeutic diet procedures for optimum operation of hospital dietary services.
Displays sound judgment, initiative, tact and ability to work effectively with all members in a
health care team.
Excellent phone skills and organizational skills.
Basic understanding of diets. Knowledge of food and diabetic substitutions.
At least one year successful experience in a heathcare food service setting preferred.

Hospital diet office and kitchen.
Position involves sitting, standing, stretching, walking and stair climbing.
Pulls/pushes loaded tray carts.
Routinely lifts 10 pounds and occasionally lifts 25-30 pounds.
