Job Description

To work closely with the Front Office Operations and evening team to ensure maximum Front Office, Housekeeping, and Engineering efficiency and levels of customer service.

Salary range for this position (based on experience):$40,000 to $50,000 /year. Full Time Associates at Omni Interlocken Resort are entitled to elect the following benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and other healthcare benefits, Paid Maternity Leave, 401k and Paid Time Off Accrual. Omni Interlocken Resort reserves the right to pay more or less than listed compensation scale based on factors not related to sex or race.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Front Desk duties are complete

  • Ensure lobby presence during peak arrival time. Assist in greetings our guests and offering luggage assistance if needed.

  • Follow up with all guest challenges and ensuring full recovery of guest – including in person, telephone, and email communication

  • Assist in ensuring all arriving guests are assigned a room including VIP, Select Guest, and special requests. Assist Housekeeping leadership in inspecting any VIP arrivals if needed.

  • Assist the evening Engineer on Duty with any operational needs – assist in mentoring and managing PM team

  • Must be able to assist as Manager on Duty and respond to life safety calls with the assistance of our Engineer on duty

  • Ensure proper onboarding and training of new Associates

  • Continued training and coaching with all associates.

  • Communicate with all departments on continuing basis including conducting PM stand up meetings with evening team as well as pass on communication to overnight and morning leadership.

  • Be familiar with the hotel operating systems for training, maintenance and trouble shooting.

  • Complete weekly inventories of Front Office supplies and assist with ordering.

  • Ensure daily completion of credit limit reports, guest ledger, and deposit ledger. Contact any guest with an outstanding balance.

  • Adhere to all Systems & Controls of the Front Office and appropriate areas of responsibilities.

  • Assure knowledge and training of Marketing Programs of company and hotel.

  • Assist in maintaining Front Office financials including labor and expenses

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift, carry, place items up to 50lbs without assistance

  • Ability to stand, sit, move for extended periods of shift up to 8 hours

  • Strong computer skills preferred

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred

  • Ability to adapt to a changing high paced, high pressure environment
