Life Time Head Swim Team Coach (Seasonal) in Broomfield, Colorado

Position SummaryThe Aquatics Head Swim Team Coach will enjoy working in a fast-pacedenvironment and will help our Swim Team members improve their swimming in ourstate-of-the-art recreational and lap pools, both indoors and out. A typicalday for a Head Swim Team Coach could include writing and leading Swim TeamGroup Workouts according to a season plan. They will develop and coach SwimTeam Coaches on their team They will also oversee registering new participantsfor the Team as well as maintaining the cleanliness and order of our AquaticsFacilities.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesCreates an educational, safe and inviting experience for all participantsInitiates, develops and maintains positive relationships with participantsResponds to member questions regarding Life Time's programs, policies andproceduresProvides a safe, clean and organized pool areaPromotes and sells all Aquatics programs and servicesActs as the liaison between the Aquatics Department Head, USA Swimming,Swim Coaches and ParentsParticipates in weekly 1 on 1 meetings with the Aquatics ManagerWrites the season plan and workout templates for each seasonEnters the swimmers into the swim meet programPosition RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED2 years of swim coaching experienceMember of ASCA and USA SwimmingSafety Training for Swim Coaches certificationComplete LTU Safety Training before first shiftComplete all LTU courses within first 60 days of hireCPR/AED certification required within the first 3 months of hireSuccessfully complete and pass Life Time Swim Instructor CertificationAbility to work in a stationery position and move about the club for prolongedperiods of timeAbility to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiriesabout Life Time products and servicesAbility to swim 25 yards/meters without stoppingAbility to routinely and repetitively bend to lift 20 lbs or less andoccasionally bend to lift more than 20lbs Preferred RequirementsBachelor's Degree in a related fieldSwim lesson instruction experience1 year of customer service experienceASCA Level 2 Certification or higherRed Cross Lifeguard and First AidPayThis is an hourly position with wages starting at $15.00 and pays up to$22.00, based on experience and qualifications.BenefitsAll team members receive the following benefits while working for Life Time:A fully subsidized membershipDiscounts on Life Time products and servicesRetirement savings plan with company match (21 years of age and older)Training and professional developmentPaid sick leave where required by lawFull-time Team Members are eligible for additional benefits, including:Medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverageShort term and long term disability insuranceLife insurancePre-tax flexible spending and dependent care plansMaternity leave and adoption assistancePaid time off, including vacation and paid sick leave
