If you are a friendly, motivated person, with a passion toserve others, the Omni Interlocken Resort may be your perfect match.Job DescriptionThis position ensures that all Housekeeping and Food and Beverage Linens areprocessed in a timely manner meeting the expectations of Omni Hotels andResorts standards while minimizing as much discarded product as possible.Salary for this position starts at (based on experience):$15.00/hour. Full Time Associates at Omni Interlocken Resort are entitledto elect the following benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and otherhealthcare benefits, Paid Maternity Leave, 401k and Paid Time Off Accrual.Omni Interlocken Resort reserves the right to pay more or less than listedcompensation scale based on factors not related to sex or race.ResponsibilitiesSorting of dirty linen from laundry chute to be processed.Pickup of dirty linen from Food and Beverage Outlets/BanquetsOperating all washers, dryers, ironers and towel foldersStacking clean items into laundry bins/trucks to be delivered to the guestroom floors or Food and Beverage areas.Operating smaller washers/dryers to process specialty items or specialrequests for guests.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department at all times.Adhere by safety and sanitization regulations as instructed by OSHA and theOmni Hotels and Resorts.QualificationsMust be able to stand in work station for up to 7 hours per shiftMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.Must be able to push and pull carts up to 250 pounds often throughout theshift.Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch on a regular basis.Must be able to understand and follow directions in the spoken language of thework area.Must be able to travel to various areas of the hotel to pick/deliver linenitems in allotted time provided.Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekendsand holidays. - vets/disability.
