ServiceSource isan organization of talented men and women who drive innovation, embracechange, and serve humanity.Job SummaryThe Food Service Worker (Cafeteria Worker) will work under the directionof the Lead Supervisor with general supervision and follow prescribed stepsafter receiving instructions as how to do the work. Lead Supervisor observesthe work to determine whether it is performed properly.Primary DutiesThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill,and/or ability required. These dutiesand responsibilities will be rated on the Annual Performance Review.Refill cold bars, salad bars, pastry cabinets, condiments, juicedispensers, and set up dining rooms.Replace glassware, dishes and silverware and refill condiment containers.Wipe and wash tables and counter-tops.Clean work area, utensils and equipment; remove garbage; mop floors,walls, windows and tables.Remove dirty dishes, glasses and silverware from serving counters. Mixwashing solutions and operate electric dish washing machine and/or washdishes, glassware, pots and pans and kitchen utensils by hand.Perform other related duties as assigned.Additional ResponsibilitiesMaintain in a sanitary condition equipment and work areas, utensils andtables.During and after the meals, perform ware-washing, and keep pot and panareas clean.Follow correct techniques, cleaning schedules and tasks.Participate in all other training required by funding source(s).Qualifications: Education, Experience and Certification(s)High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.One-year food-service related experience preferred.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesStrong customer service skills required.Neat, well-groomed appearance required.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must bemet by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of thisjob. While performing the dutiesof this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; reach with handsand arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walkand sit.
