The Event Marketing Associate is a key role on the Thought Leadership & Comms team, responsible for the strategic management and execution of revenue-generating events. This role requires exceptional collaboration skills and the ability to think strategically, as well as manage budgets and resources effectively. This position reports into the Manager, Brand & Events.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive event program reflecting and supporting iCIMS strategic initiatives.

  • Manage fiscal requirements for the calendar year; prepare and adhere to budgets accordingly. Ensure that cost avoidance/saving measures are identified. Prioritize negotiations with vendors among the team.

  • Strategize with internal stakeholders to develop marketing campaigns for event speaking engagements and promotions (email, social, print); collaborate with team members Marketing to develop event branding and promotional initiatives.

  • Track performance and analyze event success against lead goals. Partner with Marketing Analytics team and Decision Support to set up appropriate tracking within Salesforce, report monthly on results. Identify new ways to prove ROI and showcase in quarterly business reviews.

  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to roll out new processes to kaizen the current events strategy. Make recommendations for processes that are currently not providing value.

  • Research and report on industry landscape for competitive analysis on events in the HR space.

  • Support and oversight of all logistics of assigned virtual & in-person events including venue selection, technology management, invite campaigns, travel coordination, shipping, onsite execution, event production and post-event lead reporting.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in B2B event management

  • Requires exceptional collaboration and organizational skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to think critically and create strategic plans

  • Experience managing & executing events in-person & virtually

  • Requires strong ability to analyze lead data and results

  • Proven negotiation skills

  • A personable self-starter and creative thinker with ability to show resilience, grace, and professionalism under pressure

  • Comfortable working in a demanding, fast-paced environment

  • Excellent cross-team collaboration skills with the ability to drive and communicate change

  • Microsoft Office proficiency required and SalesForce experience is a plus

  • Experience with event technology platforms a plus

  • Ability to travel approximately 30%

Compensation & Benefits

Target Total Compensation - $45,700 - $60,000
