University of Denver Golf Club at Highlands Ranch is an 18-hole,semi-private golf club featuring a Hale Irwin designed championship golfcourse. The course, which opened in 1998, features a great variety ofimmaculately groomed holes. The 7,179 yard, par 72 layout boasts expansivebentgrass greens that many say are the best in the region.Position SummaryThe positions are non-benefited, part-time and not to exceed 1,000 hoursin a calendar year. The responsibilities of these positions include, but arenot limited to: booking tee times, checking in golfers, answering phonesand retail sales, tee sheet management, practice range and golf cartfleet. Additional duties may include tournament administration,merchandising duties and providing exceptional customer service to the membersand guests of the course.Required QualificationsHigh School diploma/GEDFlexibility in schedule.Ability to work full-time during main golf season (April-October).Ability to multi-task.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Preferred QualificationsPrevious golf course experience.Familiar with basic computer programs (MS Word, Excel).Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of staff and customerpersonalities.Golf playing background.Work ScheduleSeven days a week, A.M. or P.M. shifts; Seasonal golf course.Special InstructionsCandidates must apply online through jobs.du.edu to be considered.
