Hotel:Denver Crowne PlazaJob DescriptionProfile:Telecommute: NoBonus Eligible: NoDirect Reports: NoReports To: Executive Chef, Banquet Manager or All Purpose ManagerEquipment: UniformPrimary Purpose:The primary purpose of the Restaurant Server is to provide guests with anexcellent restaurant experience.Work Performed:TheRestaurantServerwill be tasked with the following duties,responsibilities, and assignments:Schedule dining reservations and arrange parties or specialservices;Ensure prompt and courteous service toguests;Answer telephone calls and process phoneorders;Greet guests, escort them to tables, and provide menus, answering diningrelated questions, and suggest food and beverageitems;Take food and beverage orders, relay orders to kitchen,and serve foodtoguests;Coordinate amenity delivery request in connection with the kitchendepartment;Monitors tables in assigned section ensuring allguestsareserved;Address guestcomplaints;Collect and process guestpayments;Totals receipts at end of shift to verify sales and clear cashregister;Ensures tips are reported properly for taxprocessing;Clear dirty table settings and preparetableforresetting;Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessaryequipment including silverware, linen andcondiments;Inspect dining room serving stations for neatness andcleanliness;Assistservicestaff as necessary to service guests in a timelymanner;Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, includingreporting accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to management; andAny and allother work as required to complete the primary purpose of theposition.Qualifications:Preferred Prior Experience:Six(6)months of previous customer service, restaurantand/or cashier experiencePreferred Education:High school diploma or equivalentRequired Licenses/ Certification:Food Safety Trainingcertifiedor become certified within first 60 days ofemployment.Alcohol Awareness certifiedor become certified within first 60 days ofemploymentPreferred Technology:Previous experience with Micros operating systemPhysical:Able to lift a minimum of 50lbsAbleto bend and squat repeatedlyAble to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shiftOther:Flexible towork day, early morning, evening, weekend and holidayshiftsStarting Compensation$9.30In addition to competitive compensation packages, all Atrium Associates areeligible for commissions for referred and booked hotel business, 401(k)Retirement Savings plan with company match and travel discounts.Full-Time Associates are also eligible for employer-sponsored health
