Sage Hospitality is set to hire a Sales and Meeting Services Leader to join the pre-opening sales team at the Hyatt Place Pena Station. This hotel is part of Denver’s “smart city” design, re-imagining traditional community pillars-corporate offices, multi-family residences, healthcare, retail and hotels-as hubs for environmentally progressive, transit-oriented innovation. We are seeking an energetic and passionate individual to contribute to the sales team by being organized, driven, and ultimately committed to the continued growth and success of the brand new Hyatt Place Pena Station.
The hotel has been designed to embody Pena Station NEXT’s vision for smart, sustainable, connected living. The seven-story, 225 room hotel is accessible by the light rail station one block way and driverless electric shuttles. The lobby level boosts 3,500 sq. ft. of meeting space, Gallery Kitchen, market, Starbucks, 24-hour fitness center, indoor pool, gaming area, library and business center. A large bar includes an operable wall that will open to the outside, connecting guests with the active, tree-lined outdoor design.

The Sales and Meeting Services Leader assists in the coordination of meeting room and catering needs for groups. Additionally supports sales and catering managers in achieving customer satisfaction by performing administrative duties relating to guests, hotel communications and sales. Responds to telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information and guest concerns.

Excellent hearing required for telephone inquiries and client and associate handling. Excellent vision required as contracts and letters are hand written, filing, using computer, checking diary. Excellent speech communication skills necessary to communicate clearly with customers and other departments. Excellent comprehension and literacy required to read manager's letters, help prepare contracts and proposals. Excellent attention to detail and multi tasking skills
Bending/kneeling - repeated bending and kneeling required while filing, Mobility - must be able to reach all areas of hotel to assist clients. Occasional standing. Occasional carrying and lifting of files and office items up to 25 lbs.
High school diploma or vocational secretarial.
Previous hospitality (operations and/or sales), and administrative experience preferred.
