University Of Denver Youth Programs Camp Coach in Denver, Colorado

The Division of Athletics and Recreation at the University of Denver iscurrently seeking part-time camp coaches for its youth activities programs.Programs include the summer P.A.S.S. Camp program, year-round day campprograms and a variety of instructional sport offerings.Position SummaryFacilitate youth programming activities at the Ritchie Center and theUniversity of Denver campus, including P.A.S.S. Camp (summer),year-round day camp programs, and instructional sport programs.These are non-benefited, part-time positions not to exceed 1,000 hours ina calendar year.Essential FunctionsSupport the division of Athletics and Recreation in the execution of its youthprogramming opportunities.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesProvide excellent customer service for all Ritchie Center participants andcustomers.Recognize and respond effectively and efficiently to emergencies.Help maintain a clean and safe environment.Able to work both individually and as part of a team.Required QualificationsAmerican Red Cross CPR/First Aid/AED Certification, or willingness toobtain CPR/First Aid/AED certification.Employees working in licensed child care programs will be required to completeadditional background checks as required by Colorado child care licensing(paid for by the University of Denver).Work SchedulePart-time, hours will vary depending upon position.Application DeadlineApplications will be reviewed as they are received.Special InstructionsCandidates must apply online through to be considered.
