Professional Contract Services, Inc 570 Assist Exec Housekeeper in Fort Carson, Colorado

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilitiesto perform the essential functions.* Supervise housekeeping staff, including shift supervisors, and hourlyemployees.* Plan and organize workloads and staff assignments.* Provide leadership and direction in the development of short and long rangeplans for the housekeeping staff.* Train, motivate and evaluate assigned staff. Coordinate departmentactivities with other departments and agencies as needed.* Provide technical support to supervisors and subordinates.* Make presentations to housekeeping and government staff.* Communicate official plans and policies and procedures to staff as needed.* Ensure that assigned areas of responsibilities are performed withinbudget, and there is effective use of budgeted funds, personnel,materials and time maintained.* Ensure customer satisfaction and deliverance of the highest quality servicepossible for our customers.* Support the Executive Housekeeper in resolving customer and performanceconcerns.* Maintain industry best practices.* Conduct productivity rate studies to ensure maximum and balance workforceoutput.* Participation in the Performance Evaluation program is required.Qualifications* High school diploma or GED, college experience preferred.* Minimum of 1 year of prior experience working in housekeeping, within thelast three years in a medical treatment facility of comparable size andservices; minimum of two years of prior management experience is required.* Requires intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and PCfunctions.* Must be CEH or REH certified through the International ExecutiveHousekeepers Association or certified through the American HealthcareEnvironment as a Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional(CHESP) or have the ability to become certified within 90 days fromaccepting the position.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities* Ability and willingness to exert disciplinary action as needed.* Ability to interpret policies, procedures and regulations.* Ability to set and manage priorities.* Ability to work as a team member.* Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal direction andsupervision.* Ability to climb, bend, squat, lift and carry objects up to 20pounds; Prolong walking up to 90%.* Ability to read and understand the "Material Safety Data Sheets"(MSDS) for all chemicals and solutions used during working hours.* Ability to follow policies and procedures in place to perform dutiesassigned.* Ability to work as a team member and independently to complete daily tasks.* Ability to assist and communicate with others as needed and establisheffective working relationships.* Ability to function and interface with all levels of management.* Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills.* Experience leading quality and safety procedures.* Ability to comply with Medicare, City, State, and Federal regulatoryagency requirements.Working Condition* Ability to pass credit, criminal, drug, and driving screening.* Ability to work outside in inclement weather as needed and be exposed tovarious dirt, debris, and odors.* Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends andholidays.* Possess valid driver's license and maintain good driving record.* If required, ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and baseaccess to assigned site(s).Other DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain acomprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that arerequired of the employee for this job.
