Custodian and Corps Program Driver

Fountain Valley Corps - Fountain, Colorado

The Salvation Army is seeking: Custodian and Corps Program Driver – This is a part time, non-exempt position

Scope of Position: The Custodian and Corps Program Driver is to maintain every aspect of the building inside and out, keeping the property in good standard. The Custodian and Corps Program Driver will assist with pick up and transport of children enrolled in

the After-School Program/Summer Day Camp program. The Custodian and Corps Program Driver will also be tasked with occasional food donation pickups for the Fountain Valley Social Service program.


Position Qualifications:

 High school diploma or equivalent is required for all Intermountain Division positions

 Custodial and/or commercial property maintenance experience preferred

 Experience driving trucks, box trucks, passenger busses or vans preferred

 Some experience supervising a group of people or volunteers

 Experience working with children and youth preferred

 Minimally 21 years of age with a valid Colorado Driver’s License

 Proficient communication skills

 Some knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required

 Ability to utilize new software programs with basic training

 Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis

 Ability to grasp, push, pull, and reach overhead

 Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
