We are lookingfor a Gate Attendant to greet all visitors and direct them to theirdestinations. Customer service is important since you will be the first lineof contact for all visitors!OVERVIEWGate Attendants greet all visitors, vendors, contractors, residents,and prospective buyers and directs them to their destinations. They obtainpertinent information from each non-resident/guest entering the resort,handing out promotional materials to prospective guests and residents.JOB DUTIES* Obtain name, license plate number, phone number, and email address ofeach non-resident/guest entering the resort.* Greet and register late arriving RVs, if applicable; escort latearriving RVs to the appropriate site.* Note all unusual occurrences on the daily log sheets.* Hand-out promotional material to prospective guests and residents.* Answer the telephone courteously and record pre-call visitor informationappropriately. Prepare pre-call sheets for the following day.* Submit maintenance requests for issues such as electrical, sewer and waterbreak problems as needed.* On a nightly basis, check all buildings, turn-off lights, and lockdoors and gates as directed. Monitor the resort, noting any deficiencies(i.e. broken lights, missing signs, etc.). Check homes on the housechecklist for unusual situations requiring attention.* Other duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTS* High School Education (some HS education required)* Ability to read maps* Good verbal and written communication skills* Good customer service skills* Basic computer proficiency including the ability to use email and internet* Flexible schedule, including the ability to respond to resort needs duringnon-business hoursAS A WORK CAMPER, YOU WILL* Receive a welcome kit with detailed information about being a Sun RV ResortsWork Camper* Earn wages for the work you perform* Earn rebates that are applied towards your site rent* Earn free rent for referring other Work Campers who get hired* Take part in exciting activities and events* Gain access to purchase Work Camper gear and our seasonal Work Campert-shirt* Help our team offer an outstanding array of amenities, wonderful plannedevents, spacious social facilities and dedicated on-site customer servicefocused on maximizing the enjoyment our guests' visits
