Encompass Health Rehab Hospital Of Littleton Housekeeper - Environmental Services Aid in Littleton, Colorado

The Environmental Services Aide, Senior maintains a clean, sanitary, andsafe environment in all areas of the Hospital in accordance with our qualitystandards, as well as local, state, and federal regulations. Theposition provides technical guidance and direction and assists managementstaff in planning job activities, scheduling and division of duties.Previous housekeeping experience required. Healthcare experience preferred.Machines, Equipment Used:- High duster, vacuum, mop, spraybottles, floor polisher, linen carts, trash carts- General officeequipment such as telephone, copy machine, fax machine, calculator,computer.Physical Requirements: - Good visual acuity and ability tocommunicate.- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a regular basis andability to push/pull a minimum of 50 pounds, which includes lifting,pushing and/or pulling equipment, supplies and tools. Reasonableassistance may be requested when lifting pushing and/or pulling areundertaken that exceeds these minimum requirements- Ability to withstandprolonged standing and walking.- Ability to reach, stoop, bend, kneeland croucCompliance:- Adheres to the company's Standards of Business Conduct.-Maintains current licensure and/or certifications, if applicable.Skills and Abilities:- Ability to speak, read, write, and communicateeffectively.- Ability to coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions,and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented manner.- Ability to work independentlywithout supervision.Environmental Conditions:- Indoor, temperature controlled, smoke-freeenvironment.
