Vail Corporation Advanced Housekeeper in Mt Crested Butte, Colorado

Vail Corporation dba Crested Butte Mountain Resort is looking to fill AdvancedHousekeeper positions in Mount Crested Butte, Colorado. This is atemporary, fulltime peak load position and we are looking to fill 10 jobopenings for employment from January 01, 2021 to April 8, 2021.Duties: Clean and maintain guest accommodations. Make beds and changelinens; clean bathrooms; dust furniture, pictures, window ledges andshelves; vacuum carpeted areas and remove trash. Stock guest rooms withamenities such as bottled water, towels and tissues. Clean common areas suchas lobbies, hallways, bathrooms and recreation areas. Report damage toguest rooms. Report lost items. Maintain carts, linen rooms and housekeepingequipment and supplies in a neat and orderly fashion. May also help withturndown service. Comply with all resort policies, procedures and standardsof operation. Comply with OSHA standards for chemical handling.Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to stand forextended periods of time. Must have a minimum of 1 year of housekeepingexperience.Terms and Conditions of Employment: At least $13.53/hr, at least35hrs/wk, Mon-Sun, 8:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M. (schedule, hours andshifts vary). Overtime is available as needed. Overtime rate of pay is atleast $20.30 per hour.Transportation: From the place from which the worker has come to work,whether in the U.S. or abroad, to the place of employment, if the workercompletes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will provideadvance payment for transportation and subsistence (including meals and,to the extent necessary, lodging) from the place of recruitment to theplace of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker isdismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonablecosts of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place theworker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not returndue to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount oftransportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economicaland reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
