1ST SHIFT: 5:30 A.M. - 2:00 P.M., MONDAY - FRIDAY

OBJECTIVE

To assist the site manager by assigning employees their daily duties, overseeing their work and assisting in the upkeep of assigned areas. Lead and train others to use various janitorial equipment and supplies and perform specific assigned janitorial duties while ensuring contract standards are met. We prefer you are a team player, professional who is willing to "roll up the sleeves!”

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or Equivalent. You must have at least 2 years working in the janitorial field, have at least 1 year experience being a floor tech and have at least 2 years Lead experience. See background requirements for access below.

Must conduct self in a professional manner conducive to a product work environment; demonstrate good judgment, responsibility and initiative. Should possess effective interpersonal skills including the ability to supervise people, work cooperatively, to organize work and make good decisions. The incumbent must maintain a professional appearance appropriate for the work setting. The Lead must be able to work with people with disabilities and disadvantaging conditions.

You will report to work prepared to accomplish duties as assigned and consistently communicate areas of concern or issues in an appropriate and timely manner to the Site Manager for resolution. Maintain open communication at all times in relationship with other supervisors, work leaders and customers, experience in burnishing, stripping and waxing floors, carpet cleaning, knowledge of all equipment, to include side by sides, walk behind auto scrubbers, ride on auto scrubbers, extractors, working weekends and traveling from location to location, as well as perform other duties as assigned.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Provide guidance to assigned employees and trainees who work within the department to accomplish the upkeep of contract requirements.

  • Ensure all Statement of Work (SOW) are completed prior to the end of each shift, reporting all areas that need to be changed in the SOW and if supervising second shift personnel, will stay with work leaders and employee until all tasks are completed.

  • Know how to work with QAE Inspectors, Building Managers, and customers in all buildings.

  • Train assigned personnel on the use of the various equipment and supplies, assign work to the most appropriate personnel and control all duty-related activities of assigned personnel.

  • Perform all necessary janitorial duties assigned during the shift in accordance with the Statement of work, quality procedures are adhered to, conduct a physical inventory of janitorial supplies on a weekly basis and submit it to the project manager.

Access to CUI/FOUO should be limited to U.S. Nationals that have either a current U.S. security clearance (minimum interim SECRET clearance) or have been the subject of a favorably completed National Agency Check with Inquiries (i.e. Standard Form (SF) 85 Position of Trust investigation) or equivalent investigation (i.e. contractor equivalent).

(1) Definitions:

Contractor personnel with dual or foreign citizenship (including but not limited to those with permanent resident status) will be subject to an additional review; and found favorable by MDA prior to access to CUI/FOUO. (Note: Contractor personnel with dual citizenship that have an active U.S. security clearance (interim Secret or higher) may have access to CUI/FOUO material without additional review.

  2. The contractor shall flow-down this requirement to all subcontractors requiring access to CUI/FOUO information regardless if the subcontractor has a facility security clearance or not. For those uncleared subcontractors, the prime contractor shall ensure this section exists within the language of the subcontract/purchase order.
