The Hotel and Base Area Food & Beverage Director must have prior experience as an F&B Director, including 5-7 years Hotel F&B and resort/ski area management experience preferred.

Detailed job description, including responsibilities, work performed, tools or equipment used, etc.:• Oversee the Hotel, Banquets, Base Area & Haymaker operations both day and night and achieve KPI’s set by the VP and Director.• Hire, train, develop and evaluate year-round and key seasonal managers.• Audit and approve monthly inventories for posting.• Develop long term strategic and operational plans.• Develop menus and pricing.• Participate in annual capital budget decisions.• Propose and update departmental policies.• Oversee facilities’ seasonal start-up and shut-down.• Work with marketing to drive business in venues. • Work with on mountain food and beverage director to develop and implement training for all food and beverage staff. • Maintain impeccable cleanliness standards.• Maintain and develop procedures to assure guest and employee safety.• Oversee facilities maintenance.• Ensure facilities are in compliance with local, state and federal regulatory requirements • Ensure understanding and compliance with all company policies and procedures• Other duties, as assigned

Minimum skills, experience, education and ability required for this job:• Prior experience as Food and Beverage Director in a hotel/resort required • 5-7 years Hotel F&B and resort management, ski resort management experience preferred.• College degree preferred• Multi-outlet, including fine dining experience, and banquet operations• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, problem-soliving, team building and leadership skills• Experience with budget/financial reports and development • Ability to problem solve in a highly effective manner and maintain positive relationships with guests and staff, including management, subordinates and co-workers• Ability to be a consistent role model for company’s Service Excellence standards

Physical Requirements:• Must be minimum 18 years of age• Must be able to stand, walk and move around facilities for extended periods of time• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed• Ability to communicate clearly in the English language
