Continue into thecounty(ies) of San Miguel, CO and area of Southwest Coloradononmetropolitan area. This is a temporary, full-time seasonal position from11/20/2020 to 4/10/2021.Duties: Perform any combination of housekeeping cleaning duties to maintainestablishment(s) in a clean, orderly manner. Carry linens, towels,toilet items, cleaning supplies, use wheeled carts. Disinfect equipment,supplies, use germicides or steam-operated sterilizers. Clean rooms,hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators,stairways, locker rooms, other work areas so that health standards aremet. Empty wastebaskets, empty-clean ashtrays, transport other trash,waste to disposal areas. Observe precautions protect guest, property,report damage, theft, found articles to supervisors. Replenish supplies,such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, bathroom items.Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, draperies, use vacuumcleaners, shampooers. Dust, polish furniture, equipment. Keep storageareas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy. Wash windows, walls,ceilings, woodwork, wax, polish as necessary and other relatedHousekeepers activities as per SOC/OES 37-2012 (onetonline.org).Requirements: Must be 18 due to insurance. Must show proof of legalauthority to work in the U.S. Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco free work zone. Performphysical activities: such as lift, balance, walk, stoop, handle,position, move, manipulate materials use static strength to exert maximummuscle force to lift, push, pull, carry objects up to 50lbs. Must have 3months Housekeeping exp. No minimum education requirement. All applicantsmust be able, willing, qualified to perform work described and must beavailable for the entire period specified and work throughout all areas ofintended employment.Terms and Conditions of Employment:"$13.53/hr up to possible$17.00/hr | Overtime: $20.30/hr up to possible $25.50/hr. Wagemay vary. Depends on Experience. The wage(s) offered equal(s) orexceed(s) the highest of the prevailing wage or the Federal, State, orlocal minimum wage. Cash advances may apply at employer's discretion.Possible daily/weekly hours: 9:00AM-5:00PM. 40+ (plus) toinclude lunch break, M-Su. Possible weekend/holiday work. (Overtimepossible, but not required or guaranteed. If overtime is worked, wage ispaid at a rate of time and a half per hour worked beyond 40 hours eachweek.) Hours may fluctuate based on tourism peaks and valleys throughout theseason (+/-), possible downtime and/or overtime. Overtime notrequired. This employer will also comply with all applicable federal, stateand local laws pertaining to overtime hours.Transportation: Transportation and subsistence will be reimbursed (bycheck in 1st work week) for cost from the place from which the worker hascome to work for the employer, whether in the U.S. or abroad, to the placeof employment.Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissedearlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs ofreturn transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the workeroriginally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due tosubsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportationpayment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonablecommon carrier for the distances involved.
