Amazon is seeking to add a Tour Specialist to our fulfillment center publictours program in Thornton, CO, DEN3. The public tours program opens ourdoors to highlight Amazon's amazing people, using innovative technologiesto deliver on our customer promises. We are seeking an enthusiastic individualwith highly-developed communication skills and attention to detail inproviding fun and engaging fulfillment center tours in the local community.The Tour Specialist likes meeting new people, has high energy and can answerguest questions in a fun and thoughtful way.The Tour Specialist will support the fulfillment center public tours programby providing a world-class customer experience. The Tour Specialist will workclosely with their line manager in a fast-paced organization to coordinate anddeliver fulfillment center tours to the public, which may include media andgovernment officials, on a daily basis. This candidate will possess superborganizational skills and exercise good judgement with extreme attention toimportant details. This candidate will work effectively with internal andexternal stakeholders; General Managers, operations partners, vendors,and other internal teams to drive efficient and professionally run tours. Thisperson has the ability to quickly pivot at a moment's notice, hasexcellent communication skills, including the ability to speak and presentto large groups of stakeholders, has a willingness to roll up their sleevesto get the work done, and enjoy the challenges of helping craft greatexperiences for our customers.The Tour Specialist will have a proven ability, willingness, and desireto: Exercise high judgement, particularly in narrow timeframes; workautonomously and efficiently, but is judicious enough to know when to askfor help. This person will be able to foster and develop local communityrelationships and has the ability to learn and be curious to drive program andsite level tour improvements.Core Job Responsibilities:* Lead the fulfillment center tours program in DEN3's Fulfillment Center,up to 3 per day;* Take a lead role in delivering messaging about Amazon among both internalpartners and external audiences;* Maintain ownership of tour calendar; manage billing/payments;* Cultivate a knowledge-sharing environment;* Make data-driven recommendations to benefit the program; drive programimprovements;* Earn trust with site leadership and build relationships with local communitygroups;* Have the ability to answer questions spontaneously.Basic Qualifications* Bachelor's degree* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and ExcelAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
