Resort and Residences in Vail is looking to fillAdvanced Housekeeper positions in Vail, Colorado. This is a temporaryfull-time peak load position & we are looking to fill 12 job openings foremployment from December 3, 2018 to April 24, 2019.Duties: Clean & maintain guest accommodations. Make beds & changelinens; clean bathrooms; dust furniture, pictures, window ledges &shelves; vacuum carpeted areas & remove trash. Stock guest rooms withamenities such as bottled water, towels & tissues. Clean common areas suchas lobbies, hallways, bathrooms & recreation areas. Report damage toguest rooms. Report lost items. Maintain carts, linen rooms & housekeepingequipment & supplies in a neat & orderly fashion. May also help withturndown service. Comply with all resort policies, procedures & standardsof operation. Comply with OSHA standards for chemical handling.Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to stand forextended periods of time. Must have a minimum of 1 year of housekeepingexperience.Terms & Conditions of Employment: At least $14.90/hr, at least35hrs/wk, Mon-Sun, 8:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M. (schedule and hoursvary). Overtime is available as needed. Overtime rate of pay is at least$22.35Transportation: From the place from which the worker has come to work,whether in the U.S. or abroad, to the place of employment, if the workercompletes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will provideadvance payment for transportation and subsistence (including meals and,to the extent necessary, lodging) from the place of recruitment to theplace of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker isdismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonablecosts of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place theworker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not returndue to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount oftransportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economicaland reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistencewill be provided at a rate of $12.26 per day during travel to a maximum of$51.Three-fourths guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hoursequal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of thetotal employment period.Tools, equipment & supplies: The employer will provide workers at nocharge all tools, supplies, & equipment required to perform the job.Miscellaneous: The employer will use a single workweek as its standard forcomputing wages due; The pay period is every two weeks; The employer willmake all payroll deductions required by law and will not make anydeductions, which are not required by law; The employer will reimburse anH-2B worker in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, bordercrossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by thegovernment, incurred by the H-2B worker. Subsidized housing is available ata cost of $372.00 to $641.00 depending on the unit type (i.e., numberof beds in the unit and the number of people living in the unit). The workeris responsible for paying the subsidized housing cost each month.
